Saint Jude Malankara Catholic Mission, Calgary was established in September 2015, for the families living in Calgary and surrounding areas. This was a dream that became true as an answer to the prayers and handwork of the zealous malankarites of Calgary.

Under the guidance of Fr. Daiju Kuriakose, our community continuous to grow as a vibrant and enthusiastic group. We have our liturgical celebration every Saturday at 06:30pm followed by Saint Jude Novena. We also have dedicated every first Saturday of month for Hail Mary Intercessory Prayers. We also organized monthly prayer meeting once in a month.

Our mission gives special attention for the faith formation of our Children and for developing the proper malankara catholic identity in them through catechism, which is conducting every Saturday after Holy Mass. We also have MCYM unit, and celebrating jubilee year now"

St. Jude is the Patron Saint of Hope & Impossible causes, and one of Jesus original twelve Apostles. He preached the Gospel with great passion, often in the most difficult circumstances. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, he made profound differences in peoples lives as he offered them the Word of God. After the death and resurrection of Jesus, St. Jude traveled throughout Mesopotamia, Libya, and Persia with St. Simon ,preaching and building up the foundations of the early Church. St. Jude died a martyrs death for his unwavering faith. His body was later brought to Rome and placed in a crypt under St. Peter's Basilica. Today, millions of people around the world turn to St. Jude, the Patron of Hope, for his intercession and hope.
